Made to the highest standards Looking for a spa can be a daunting experience. You want to know that you are getting value for your money. At Artesian, we ensure that you get the best possible value by producing the highest quality spas available today, starting without our structure. We use pressure-tested lumber in the frames of all our spas, reinforced with fiberglass and resin. We build a spa the same way a house is built: to last! The pace between the maintenance-free, high-strength skirt and the structure is filled with high-insulation foam, which holds all jets and hoses securely in place. This dramatically increases the lifespan of the plumbing by virtually eliminating movement and vibration. Every Artesian spa has a durable shell constructed of fiberglass, vinyl ester, and Lucite acrylic. All of our plumbing components are the highest quality to ensure that they give long-lasting, worry-free enjoyment. Our jets rotate on bearings rather than plastic for ease of adjustment, and our pillows are a dyed-through closed-cell foam to prevent cracking, discoloration, and water absorption. Switchless motor technology Another revolutionary change in the operating system of the Platinum class spa relates to the actual system pumps. Artesian's new switchless technology motors drive high-water-volume pumps that are long-lasting and virtually trouble-free - and result in the most energy-efficient and cost-efficient spas on the market today! The switchless motor design does not require a mechanical switch to take it from the start position to run position, which greatly increases the efficiency of the motor. It also diminishes operating noise, such as the vibration and electrical noise heard with conventional motors. An added bonus to all of the other great features of the switchless motor is this design requires from 10 to 16 fewer parts than a conventional motor, which means many components have been eliminated that sometimes create problems. The life of our switchless motor can be measured in tens of years instead of hundreds of hours. Our Triad seats allow you the freedom to stretch out in three different directions from the same seat, all the while enjoying the soothing massage from the strategically placed jets. Efficiency - cost-effective, earth friendly All the performance in the world can be wasted if it's not efficient. Our pumps use as few as 4.6 amps to operate, greatly reducing the operating cost while maintaining unmatched power. The Whisper Pure 24-hour circulation system uses only 0.6 amps of power. The super-efficient, fault-free heater utilizes three long heating coils and the fast movement of the water to reduce any calcium buildup, while delivering optimum heat. Most other spas begin heating only when the main pumps are turned on, requiring time and energy to heat the water. The full-foam insulation - standard in every Artesian spa - maintains the spa at a comfortable, regulated temperature. Our heavy-duty covers seal off the spa when not in use to lock in heat and reduce the stress on the heater. Another major benefit of our DirectFlow® system and our switchless pumps is that this system keeps your electric bills low. Our innovative fault-free heaters deliver genuine cost savings because of their minimal energy consumption, as well as the design. The long, slender housing allows the water to have greater and longer surface contact with the element housing. And, as the water is forced by our 24-hour pump, it passes around the element more quickly, heating the water thoroughly without a build-up of calcium. The amazing microban® story Artesian proudly offers Lucite® cast acrylic with Microban® antimicrobial protection, in addition to our granite and marble shells. We have also introduced a Microban® cartridge water filter dedicated to 24 hours of water cleaning and purification. Tested safe and registered with the EPA, Microban® penetrates and disrupts key cell functions of microorganisms. Although spa owners should still follow a regular maintenance program, Microban® inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause odor and stain between cleanings. And, Microban® works with your regular water treatment regiment.
